Last updated: May 30, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how ToolGrid.io ("ToolGrid," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and embedded tools. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
In jurisdictions that require consent for non-essential cookies, we show a cookie banner when you first visit. You can accept all cookies, choose essential only, or customize analytics and preference cookies. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help sites remember your actions and preferences. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, session storage, and pixels (see Section 8).
2. Types of Cookies We Use

- Ad delivery and frequency capping
- Ad performance measurement
- Interest-based advertising where permitted (manage at adssettings.google.com)
3. How Long Cookies Last
Session cookies
Deleted when you close your browser. Used for active sessions and temporary state.
Persistent cookies
Remain for a set period or until you delete them. Used for sign-in persistence, analytics, advertising, and remembered preferences. Retention periods vary by cookie and provider.
4. Third-Party Cookies and Providers
Third parties may set cookies when you use our Services or when their scripts load on our pages:
- Google LLC — Google Analytics, Google AdSense, Google Sign-In, Google Forms (contact and newsletter), and Google Gemini (AI-powered tools). Privacy policy
- Meta Platforms, Inc. — Facebook Login (optional sign-in). Privacy policy
- Paddle.com Market Limited — Subscription checkout, billing, and customer portal (Merchant of Record). Privacy policy
- Trustpilot A/S — Review widget and trust signals on our website. Privacy policy
When you use Google or Facebook sign-in, those providers may set their own cookies. Newsletter and contact forms hosted on Google Forms are subject to Google's cookie practices when you interact with those embeds.
5. Managing Your Choices
You can control cookies in several ways:
- Our cookie banner: accept all, essential only, or customize analytics and preference cookies when you first visit
- Browser settings: block or delete cookies — see Section 6
- Google Analytics opt-out: Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
- Google ad personalization: Google Ads Settings
Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in, checkout, or other core features from working correctly.
6. Browser-Specific Instructions

Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
Safari: Settings → Privacy → Advanced → Website Data (macOS) or Settings → Safari → Advanced (iOS)

7. Cookie Consent Banner
When you first visit ToolGrid, a banner explains our use of cookies and links to this policy. Choosing "Essential only" stores your preference to limit non-essential categories. Choosing "Accept All" or saving customized preferences records your selections in local storage under the key toolgrid_cookie_consent. You can change browser cookie settings at any time; clearing site data will reset your consent choice and may show the banner again.
8. Similar Technologies
In addition to cookies, we use:
- Local storage: cookie consent, newsletter status, visited tools, and UI preferences
- Session storage: temporary data cleared when the tab closes
- Trustpilot widget scripts: may use storage or similar technologies to display reviews
9. Embedded Tools
When ToolGrid tools are embedded on a third-party website, that publisher's cookies and tracking may also apply on their domain. Publishers using embed or white-label plans are responsible for cookie notices and consents on their own sites. See our embed resources and Privacy Policy Section 12.
10. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, vendors, or legal requirements. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the "Last updated" date.
