Pricing
Pay as you go with API credits — separate from AI credits. Each successful tool call settles the published credit price from your wallet; top up packages anytime. USD amounts are usage equivalents, not withdrawable cash. An active TOOLGRID API GATEWAY subscription is required for /v1 access.
Subscription
TOOLGRID API GATEWAY — $19.99/mo (or yearly). Unlocks /v1, grants 200,000 API credits per monthly charge (2,400,000 on yearly). Credits stack and never expire. Cancel keeps your wallet balance; access ends at period end. Separate from Business VIP. Subscribe on /pricing.

Cluster rates (API Gateway)
Default price per successful non-AI operation. Tools inherit their cluster unless an override is set. Also listed on /developers.

Provider AI features (Gemini / OpenAI)
Applies only when the request runs a provider-backed AI step (Gemini, OpenAI, or similar) via useAI=true. Same sticker as Business VIP standard AI (100 display credits / call): $0.20 (1,999 API credits). Pure OSS/local execution does not take this fee. Gateway usage settles from the API credit wallet (developer dashboard); UI AI still uses VIP credits on the main dashboard.
How tools are priced
Live prices come from the gateway pricing engine (cluster default or rare tool override) — see the table above and pricing clusters. AI ops use a global AI fee when configured. Preview without charging: POST /v1/pricing/preview with { tool, useAI?, item_count? }. Batch jobs soft-check N × unit (including AI when useAI), then charge per file. Discover tool IDs via GET /v1/tools or the testing console.
